Air staged combustion is a relatively mature low NOX combustion technology adopted by Bona Thermal Energy. After air staged combustion is carried out, the emission concentration of NOX can be reduced by about 30%.

 

The principle of air staged combustion is to conduct the combustion process in stages. Firstly, the air supplied to the furnace from the main burner is reduced to 70% - 75% of the total combustion air volume, which is equivalent to 80% of the theoretical air volume. At this time, a < 1, making the fuel burn under oxygen-deficient conditions first, and reducing the NOX formation rate in a reducing atmosphere.

 

The emission amount of thermal NOx is affected by the combustion temperature, oxygen concentration and residence time. The higher the oxygen concentration, the higher the combustion temperature and the longer the combustion time, the greater the amount of NOx generated.

NOx generated during combustion can be divided into three categories: fuel type, thermal type and rapid type;
NOx generated by natural gas combustion is mainly thermal type (95%) and a small amount of rapid type (5%);
The emission of thermal NOx is affected by combustion temperature, oxygen concentration and residence time. The higher the oxygen concentration, the higher the combustion temperature and the longer the combustion time, the greater the NOx generated.
Low-nitrogen combustion technology is particularly effective against thermal NOX and is universally applicable
Tail denitrification requires comprehensive consideration of site factors, the economy of the entire life cycle, the coordination of terminal control and load changes, secondary pollution and other issues, and is generally effective for NOx.
